The Blossom Run
Dear Friends and Fellow Travellers….. On behalf of Fellowship we are organising another Almond Blossom Run (and hopefully the Mimosa also). We all enjoyed the trip last year at the beginning of February in spite that it was mainly the mimosa who greeted us with their cascading yellow blooms! It was beautiful and good fun.
We are confident that Friday 16th is the best date that suits the diaries and that the Blossoms will still be in bloom. The run is short and we will stop first for coffee this time at the Venta El Barranco, Ojen, at 11.00 am. for coffee before setting off for the site of the Blossoms where we’ll have aperativos and photos.
We then will travel along the beautiful mountain road lined with pine trees on our way to the Venta Umami where we stopped last year for a great lunch. Hopefully we can be on the terrace if sunny and warm enough. We can order from the menu by table group. The Venta is simple and the food is good!
Please send your confirmation to me, pamela@lakeassociates.net or WhatsApp +44 7802 430 462 by Tuesday 13th February (next week) so that I can confirm numbers with both the Venta El Barranco and Venta Umami. Attached is the Itinerary. So come with friends and let us enjoy a lovely day together! Pamela Lake
